Yellow-knobbed Curassow

Would make perfect exhibit bird.
The Yellow-knobbed Curassow is a gallinaceous bird endemic to the rainforests of Colombia and Venezuela. The males of this species are notable for the distinctive yellow knob on the top of the beak that will get larger with age. The females lack this particular feature but do have the curly crest feathers on their heads similar to the male’s. The Yellow-knobbed Curassow favors dense, lowland forests and is often found foraging on the ground for fruits, seeds, and small invertebrates. Another distinctive feature of this species is the descending whistling call that sounds exactly like a falling bomb, except without the boom at the end. Curassows are large birds similar in size to a turkey with which they are distantly related.
