Greencheek Conure

Green-cheek Conures are small, vibrant parrots known for their playful and friendly personalities. Greencheeks are in genus Pyrrhura which are small in size and among the quieter conures. They make wonderful pets that pack a big personality into a small size. As with all pet parrots, they require ample space to allow for exercise, play and physical activity in addition to social interaction to thrive. A diet relying mainly on seed mixes is too high in fat in addition to being deficient in vitamins A and D and calcium which will lead to health problems.
